“Edgewood thinks it's an elite school with kids and courses that are better than average. I write this from the perspective of a straight A student's parent. I'm not 'jealous'. The school has no diversity. The 'financial aid given to 40% of the students' only helps the upper middle class. I thought it was worth the struggle, financially, to send my child to Edgewood, but I am looking again at Open Enrollment or even moving to a better Madison area district. My child is not challenged in most classes. I've had to call the guidance counselor 2-3 times to get an answer. Teams did not talk about problems that I was told they would talk about. Edgewood really is not as great as they promote it to be. I think it is a GOOD school. It is not a great school.”
