According to the customer notice, the utility filed its notice of intention with the Florida Public Service Commission on May 29, 2026. The filing remains subject to Commission staff review for accuracy and completeness.
The notice cites Section 367.081(4)(a), Florida Statutes, which permits water and wastewater utilities to adjust rates for changes in certain noncontrollable operating and maintenance expenses without customers bearing the added expense of a public hearing.
