School is back in Middleton: TVCS students begin the 2026–27 year

School is officially back in session in Middleton. The Villages Charter School’s 2026–27 calendar identifies Thursday, Aug. 6, as the first day for students, bringing backpacks, golf carts and busy drop-off lines back to the community.

HelloMiddleton observed heavy first-day activity around the Middleton campus Thursday morning as families settled into their new routines. Drivers should expect the areas around Dr. Randy McDaniel Way and the campus approaches to be busiest near arrival and dismissal.

Middleton school-day times

The official TVCS school-year calendar lists these schedules:

  • Middleton grades K–5: 7:45 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
  • Middleton grades 6–8: 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
  • High school grades 9–12: 7:40 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

The first quarter runs from Aug. 6 through Oct. 8. The next schoolwide day marked “No School” is Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7.

TVCS lists its Middleton address as 2210 Dr. Randy McDaniel Way. Families can check the school’s online calendar page for updates and highlighted events.
