Written by Middleton residents now have two new food options for an evening at Sawgrass Grove. Sizzle ’N Smash and Southern Tender are open inside The Market at Sawgrass Grove, giving visitors quick walk-up choices before or during the nightly music.
Both restaurants list their address as 766 Marilee Place in Wildwood and their hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. They are separate concepts from FMK Hospitality Group, which announced its Sawgrass Market expansion in July.
What the two restaurants serve
- Sizzle ’N Smash: made-to-order smash burgers, hot dogs, fries and milkshakes.
- Southern Tender: made-to-order chicken tenders and sandwiches, fries and a selection of dipping sauces.
For Middleton residents who already make the golf-cart trip to Sawgrass Grove for live music, the openings add two casual meal options in the same market area. Southern Tender’s official site specifically promotes its food as something visitors can enjoy while listening to music in the square.
FMK’s July expansion announcement also named Papa Joe’s Pizza as a future Sawgrass Market concept. HelloMiddleton is not listing Papa Joe’s as open yet because a current first-party opening confirmation was not found.
