By creating an account or using Hello Middleton (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. By registering, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- You may not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts
- Use your real name or a recognisable name — anonymous accounts may be removed
3. Community Standards
Hello Middleton is a neighbourhood community. You agree to:
Be Respectful
No harassment, hate speech, bullying, or personal attacks.
Stay On Topic
Content should be relevant to the Middleton community.
No Spam
Do not post unsolicited ads or repetitive content outside of Classifieds.
No Illegal Content
Do not post anything that violates local, state, or federal law.
Protect Privacy
Do not share others’ personal information without their consent.
4. Classified Listings
- Listings must be for legal items or services
- Prices must be accurate and in US dollars
- You are solely responsible for any transactions from your listings
- Hello Middleton is not a party to any transaction between users
- Listings may be removed if they violate these terms
- Mark items as SOLD promptly when no longer available
5. Content Ownership
- You retain ownership of content you post (text, photos, etc.)
- By posting, you grant Hello Middleton a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the Site
- Do not post content you do not have the right to share
6. Trust Points
Trust points measure community participation. They have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged. We reserve the right to adjust point balances to maintain fairness.
7. Moderation
Site administrators may:
- Remove or edit content that violates these terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations
- Take action at their discretion to maintain community safety
Decisions are made in good faith to protect the community.
8. Disclaimer
Hello Middleton is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-posted content, the availability of the Site, or the outcome of any interactions between users.
9. Limitation of Liability
Hello Middleton and its administrators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including transactions between users, loss of data, or service interruptions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
